Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy supplements our Privacy Policy and explains how Boddy handles consumer health data, as required by the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, and similar U.S. state laws.
Last updated October 8, 2026Who this applies to
Boddy is operated by Nurlan Gasimov, Garabagh Str. 72a, Baku, Azerbaijan. This policy applies to consumer health data, meaning personal information linked or reasonably linkable to you that identifies your past, present, or future physical health status. Our Privacy Policy covers everything else.
Health data we collect and why
- Body measurements and goals: weight, height, target weight, body-weight logs, and progress photos, to set and track your goals.
- Injuries and limitations you tell us about, including in a workout goal you type or say, to adjust exercises and plans.
- Workouts and form coaching: exercises, sets, reps, form scores, and stick-figure movement traces, to run coaching and improve its accuracy.
- Nutrition: meals, meal photos and descriptions, calories, macros, water, diet preferences, and food allergies, to log food and set targets.
- Apple Health data you allow: steps, heart rate, resting heart rate, active energy, sleep, workouts, date of birth, and biological sex, to personalize training and answer coach questions about recovery.
- Coach-chat questions and answers that mention your health, to answer you and personalize coaching.
We collect this data from you, from your device (including the camera, which is processed on your device for live coaching), and from Apple Health if you connect it. We collect and use it only as needed to provide the features you request, or with your consent.
Who we share it with
We share consumer health data only as needed to provide the features you request, with these categories of third parties acting on our behalf:
- Cloud hosting and account-storage providers, to sync and back up your data;
- AI providers, to recognize meals from photos and descriptions, answer coach-chat questions, and turn workout goals (which can mention injuries) into plan settings. Workout-goal text is not kept by us;
- Nutrition-database providers, to look up foods;
- Product-analytics providers, only if you opt in to analytics, and only coarse summaries such as workout counts and form-score ranges, never exact measurements or Apple Health values;
- Apple, if you choose to write workouts and nutrition to Apple Health.
We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with advertising partners. Boddy has no affiliates that receive consumer health data. We will ask for your separate consent before collecting or sharing it for any other purpose.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data, and access it, including a list of the third parties and affiliates we have shared it with and how to contact them;
- withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing of it;
- have it deleted, including from our service providers. Delete Account in Profile does this; you can also ask us to.
To use these rights, email support@yourboddy.com from the address on your account. We will respond within 45 days, which may be extended by another 45 days where the law allows; if so, we will tell you. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying with “Appeal” in the subject line, and we will respond within 45 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General or the attorney general in your state.
